Forgive me if this was already answered, but I didn't see the answer after a quick search...

I just bought P21S paint cleanser and paste wax, as well as a bottle of Final Inspection 34 detail spray. I think the Meguiars 34 is polymer based... would it be a bad idea to use this detail spray on a P21S carnauba-waxed car?

I thought FI 34 was carnuba based. I don't think Meguires makes a poly based protectant....

Ripsnort will probably know.

FI is carnuba AFIK. Car care online suggested it when I got my Blitz so that supports this thought. :dunno:

After yesterdays wax session I tried Speed Shine and found it IMO better than FI.:)

Meguiars is indeed carnauba based.

Meguiar's #34 does NOT have carnauba in it (doesn't really have polymers either). Doesn't mean it won't work on a carnauba'd car though. :) The only scenario that causes problems is when you use a QD with polymers in it (like Z-6 or Sonus) on a carnauba'd car. It'll streak a bit.
