I was attempting the hell job of replacing the starter on my 328, had the fuel rail laying on top of the plastic cover off to the side...

when I bump one of the hood cylinders, it comes off the pin, and the hood comes down, crushing the fuel rail and injectors...

The little plastic caps that are at the end of the injector, where the O-ring is, are cracked and crushed, two gone completely, I called a dealer, they don't sell just that cap, I have to buy a complete injector, at $247 per.....for 6....

Does anyone know if these caps are available?? There is no way I will or can pay $1500 for 6 pieces of plastic worth $5.

I am at wits end here, this is my primary driver, and I am screwed right now...

Any help or advice would be much appreciated....

yes you can replace the tips, should cost you like $5 if that or you could put some Mustang injectors in there :p

I've looked for complete injectors on ebay, and found some without the caps? do you need the cap?

Where can I find the plastic caps?

thanks for the prompt reply to the first post, I'm starting to calm down a bit now : )

I saw in a thread somewhere a few months ago that you could replace the tips and they had posted a link to where you could buy a pack of them. I honestly do not remember which forum that was on or even where it was located. You could try calling an auto store, idk
