If any one here has turned on the news lately, youve abviously seen their coverage of the Swine Flu. Today the W.H.O has raised the level to level 5, stateing a possible world pandemic of this flu. After looking at how many people are expected to attend the Fest, i wanted to take a moment to remind people that this Flu spreads easily within large gatherings of people. Here are some good tips to avoid getting this Flu:

1. Bring a travel bottle of hand sanitizer. You would be surprissed how many things you will tuch in a day.

2. Don't rub your eye's or mouth with you hands

3. If you see someone that is sick, stay away from them.

4. Don't share drinks with any one

5. If you are already sick, stay home to prevent spreading of the flu.

If any one has anything else they can add please do so.

Lets keep this a healthy Bimmer Fest!!!

When half a million people die, start worrying until then don't buy into this end of the world type fear mongering the media is doing. Most people are dying because of dehydration, when you get the flu.......you have to drink fluids OMG!

LOL. Omg. More people died from "normal flu" last year. 35,000 to be exact. Please, people. No need to worry. I think it's a VW troll. He has 12 posts. He says "let's keep this a safe bimmerfest" in his sig, yet says hes not going. Yeah.

I'm airbrushing a BMW logo on my face mask as we speak...

Just wash your hands (which you should be doing anyways). I agree, the media/govt is making a big deal of this so that they can draw our focus away from the banks and the recession/depression.

As long as I have means to get there, I'll be going to Bimmerfest X.

I'm excited and can't wait.

We should all be washing our hands anyway and avoiding people who cough and sneeze... you know.. so you don't catch a cold?

The media will play anything that can get them viewers which in turn allows them to sell more advertising. ;)

Great advice! Thanks

hand sanitizer does nothing - biggest rip off in the world because you do not wash your hands enough to let them work. wash your hands and call it good.
