View Full Version : OEM E46 wheel/snow tires fit E36/323iConv

Will OEM Wheels/ tires from an E46 fit an E36-323i conv. He claims the bolt pattern is 5 x 4.75 or 5 x 120.65. The bolt pattern on E36 is 5 x 120. Will this fit? Looking to get some used snow tires/wheels combo for next winter. Thanks in advance for any info on this!!

BMW OEM 16" 5 star spoke design (style #43) x4
- Dunlop SP Winter Sport MZ x4
- 205/55/R16 91H

I have a set of 15" Michelin X-Ice tires with about 60 miles on them, and a "new" '02 325xi.
Will 15" wheels fiit the 325xi?

Do you know if 225 55r 16 Artic Alpins will fit on my 16" wheels on my '06 330XI?

That's a little tall, it may rub. You could use 205/55R16 or 225/50R16.

Wrong. With the exception of the AWD 330xi only, all E36 and E46 Wheels are interchangeable. Brake Caliper Part numbers are the same for 1995 E36 & 2002 E46, except the AWD 330xi.

"That all E36 and E46 Wheels are interchangeable with the only exception being the 330xi" Definitely not true.

No 15" wheel will clear the brakes on any 2001+ E46 that is sold in the USA.

Not a single OEM E36 non-M wheel will fit any 330i car regardless of what size they are.

The brake clearance on 330i cars are the same as 330xi cars in E46 cars so even your exception does not make sense.

I thought perhaps your statement was said 'tongue in cheek' or a perhaps was a joke.
