HI eveyone,
I'm having rubbing issues running 18x8.5 rims & 245/35s on a 95 M3. The suspension is stock and probably should be replaced. This weekend I just put on 18x8.5 SSRs w 245/35s and as I reversed out of my friends body shop the right rear wheel got stuck under the fender. The exit out of the garage was slightly inclined and as I cut the steering wheel to the left, the right rear suspension compressed and the tire dipped under the fender. On level ground, there's probably a .75inch gap.
My question is... What suspension set up should I go with in the rear? Should I get slightly taller aftermarket springs to prevent any rubbing or will aftermarket springs at stock ride height do?

Thanks.

will a fender roll take care of it? sounds like you need a few more mm of clearance.

hmm, I never had that problem with my E36... but, I had 225/40/18s on 18x8.5.. plus I was lowered with eibach springs . I didn't have to roll my fenders or anything. On occasion, going over dips on the freeway, my rear tire would rub the wheel well but, nothing bad.
