You may not be able to find a winter package this time of year. They are seasonal items and last winter was rough so the vast majority sold out. Best time to check back would be mid September.

I'm not sure what pricing will be like yet as its too soon to tell. If you're just looking for a general idea of what was avail last year and some top tires options from last year, you can check out the winter sticky here :

As long as nothing crazy changes for this season, I doubt you'll have a problem finding a good package in that price range.

Just got my tires and wheels from Tire Rack today.

Once again, excellent service.

These are the Rial Salernos 16x7 with Firestone Winterforce tires for my 325xi.

The BMW center caps fit.

Thanks again for the tip Gary.

Gary...Will tires off a 2004 545i fit a 2002 745i? Im pretty sure they will...the tires are mounted on the wheels. They are 16" stocks from what I believe. The tires are 235/50/18 from what I believe.

16" wouldn't fit a 545i, so that can't be the size. If they are OE 745i 18" wheels, then the tire size would normally be 245/50R18 which is too tall for the 545i and would likely rub. The wheels themselves may work, but we haven't test OE wheels from these two cars so I can't say for sure if they'd clear the brakes.

Alright, can you tell me one thing:
If the wheel has the same bolt pattern as the 7, (5x 120mm) , does that mean all the rims will fit the 7? The tires will be appropriate to adjust the height of my 745. Also, thin tires won't do anything to my 745 right? Because I'm only going to have this sort of setup in the winter. Thanks, get back as soon as you can.

No, there is quite a bit that goes into wheel fitment, not just bolt pattern. Center bore, offset, brake clearances, etc...

When you say 'thin' tires, I'm not sure what you're referring to.

I mean thin as in smalled in width. Okay, I got an update:
A guy is offering me 16" OEM wheels with winter tires off a 740iL. He said the size is 215/55 R16 all the way around. He is absolutely sure that it will fit my car but not so sure about the tires...Can you help me?

the brake rotors on a 745i are 13.58" in diameter. i highly doubt there's any chance in that a 16" wheel would even clear the calipers. the 740il has 12.8" rotors. the 740iL is the previous generation E38 7 series, so the brakes, etc are completely different.

similar cars with rotors >13" need a min of a 17" wheel to clear the calipers.
