I tried the search but couldn't find a definitive answer to this question:
I rarely do WOT on my 335i - does it make sense to install JB+ (or any JB for that matter)? i.e. does it improve overall throttle response?

I have a 535i, throttle response changes the moment it is installed and then adjusts within the next 2 and three days. I also rarely do WOT but its nice to have the power when needed and for $289.00 what do you have to lose. I keep mine on the default setting until I get the scanner, so if I do decide to add the extra power I can delete any codes that might be thrown. PM me if you need more details!

I concur - once the JB+ was in, there was an immediately noticeable difference - the butt-dyno approved. Over the next 2-3 days it got better and better - I love the JB+
A word of warning - you're going to want more... the increase in power is intoxicating!

You guys make it very tempting. I'll probably just take the plunge...
I don't think you'll regret it - perhaps you'll regret not getting in on the group**** - but not the actual purchase!

The JB3 has something called lagfix, which dramatically improves throttle response compared to the stock. The JB+ is also better than stock, but you sound more like a JB3 customer to me. :)

JB3 seems like what I'm looking for also. Stock throttle response in first gear and lower RPM range in my 335xi is unsatisfactory to me currently, although I'm not sure an ECU software upgrade wouldn't help. I've modified previous cars (Subaru WRX and LGT) and have felt the never ending urge to acquire more torque, HP, etc..
