roof repair?

Can anybody recommend an auto electrician to look at my 1997 328i convertible in the LINCOLNSHIRE area in ENGLAND,its not the usual roof reset problems, suspect hall sensor but do not want to go to BMW main dealer.:(

Not sure of any independant garages , let alone in your area . I rang 3 independant garages in derbyshire and 1 couldn't get off the phone quick enough , the other 2 didn't have the diagnostic equipment . The local dealers want a minimum 1hr labour to even look at it , they all tell me that on e36's the fully automatic roof system isn't part of the main diagnostic system , as it is on the latter e46's , so independants don't have the equipment .
