I second that motion. That's what I'm running in my car.

You could also try Dinancars.com

Most places with the links offer just an advanced timing chip which is what your looking for.

I am not sure if they make it for your 325i but i would recommend going with the dinan chip. I like it on my car and it works great..

Where are you located? If you are around a fairly good car scene you might be able to find a bmw tuning shop that will custom map your ecu (one the best options available, period, ((if the shop is reputable)) ).

Personally, I would wait to get a few more mods under the hood before you chip. Here is my logic behind that thought...

When you chip you are going to have a faster car, and your going to be really happy about it, and more than likely really really want to do more. WELL, if you end up doing more you will likely have to have your chip re-mapped with every new major mod that goes on/in (exhaust, cams, headers, injectors, 3.5 HFM, performance coils, the list goes on). Whereas if you do several mods to your car before you chip you will still be making your car faster and having fun with it and then when you feel its time to chip the gains you will receive will be even greater, and you will have only chipped once, saving you lots of money.

true but im not planing on going crazy on mods...i got some s52 headers i got that i still have to put on and i got a cai, as for exhaust i like my factory one and the sound and i doubt i will buying a different one...my car has 189k and the way i look at it i just want it decently fast so i can have fun when i want too but my plan for the car is to drive it for a while maybe 3 or so years then rebuilt the entire engine you know.... so thats where i kinda stand now but i guess we will see what happens....i found a dinan one for 199 that seems good i will call dinan and get the info on it...also how hard are these to put in? thanks for input

I can tell you that if you have cai, exhaust, and a chip it should be plenty of power for you.

It's so easy to do. All you do is pull out your ECU. Located on the passenger side of the engine bay under the windshield wipers. you unscrew the four screws and pull out the little box (your ECU). pop it open. Pull out the factory chip. Pop in the new. Put it back together and your done. Takes five minutes. If your still confused tell me.

I'm pretty sure it's the only one. It's extremely obvious. Don't worry about it you'll know.

Turner clearly says that if your car is a 95 production year to give them the production date and they can send you the correct chip.

This is the same one I have in my car.

You notice the difference. The car is more spirited, and I know for a fact that the 128 mph speed limiter is gone.

Worth every penny.

I don't know if you are actually reading my posts but like i said go with the dinan chip it works great with e36's and give you tons of power throughout the rpm range.

Go with Dinan..i put one in about 3 weeks ago and im loving it!!! car runns harder on highway rolls and is smog legal...It is also compatible/improves performance of current mods like CAI, throttle body, etc..
