e36 stuff for my car?

I have a fuel pressure regulator and a light wieght underdrive/crank pulley both from cosmo racing that came with the car. I talked to a guy at tunetech and he told me this stuff was pointless to put on my car and i would not see any difference performance wise at all? Is this true? What are these parts really for do they help out at all? Should i just try to sell them or put them on?

For an almost stock car I see no point in the fuel pressure regulator. But I would definately use the pulleys.

I personally have both of those things done to my car.
