New to bimmers. I have a 95 318i, and it's starting to do some wierd stuff. The fuel gauge, temp gauge, tach, and AC all went out at once. Is it the instrument cluster, or the ignition switch? Since that Air went out also, I am confused.......it happened all at once.:dunno:

Most likely its the cluster. The cluster is a major center for electronics and control in your car, I'm not sure if the Air shutting off would be related to it, but its possible. Find the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) on pulling out the cluster and pull it out (you don't have to remove the steering wheel, you slide it through the large gap ;) ) and check and clean the connections. check all the fuses related to the cluster and air. if all that stuff checks out I would probably start looking for a used 318 cluster (can't use a 323/325/328 since the rev's won't read right *courtesy of vull*

+1.

Also, check the grounds. Grounds can cause all kind of problems, and they are easy and cheap to fix.
