If you could have any 2 bikes, regardless of price, what would you take?
The first bike I'd take, would easily be the Honda CBR Repsol Edition.

The second bike I'd take for my DD would have to be this, Victory Kingpin.

Quite possibly the most beautiful bike in the world in my opinion.

1. A 40's war era BMW R75, live sidecar drive.
I was reading about one a few years ago that had a bullet hole through the sidecar trunk lid and floor from an angle that had to be shot from a high roof or airplane.
That's pretty neat - the new owner left the hole during restoration. Character.

2. Latest and greatest BMW R12xx Adventure with full aluminum touring luggage.
If you've never driven one, it's hard to explain.
Triple digit speeds @ all day comfort, go anywhere ability, huge tank.
Several on the ADV forum have over 400,000 miles.

This would be a cool accessory, GI recovered BMW factory worker helmet during the war years...

For unlimited funds I think the Confederate Motorcycles are pretty nifty.
Certainly would not 'see yourself' at bike nights.

Check the website (http://www.confederate.com/), killer stuff.
It's very expensive though...
But the OP asked for 'regardless of price' bikes...

V-Rod srsly?
Looks cool, sure.
But, it ain't a real HD. :p
No one in the HD community likes 'em - H20 cooled.
FWIW I've ridden one- fun.

I'm not a HD fanatic.
I just like the looks of the V-Rod.
What's wrong with it? :dunno:

That's a sweet site, those bikes are crazy...

I actually like it a lot based on looks alone! My family has quite a few HD enthusiasts, they hate the fact that I went with a CBR F4i instead of the Buell I was looking at

I would take:
BMW K1300S - for the days I feel like a more sporty ride
BMW R1200GS - Adventure for those days I want relaxed touring and some adventure riding.

I've always had a thing for Ducatis (but not the money). To me, this bike has it all: good looks, handling, etc.
For something completely different, I've also grown to like old-school customs like this (except mine would have to have a longer sissy bar):
