Nikon d300 at 1600 iso

had some difficult lighting to deal with at both grand central station and st patricks cathedral in nyc.... cranked the d300 up to 1600 iso and was quite surprised at the results

the grand central pic is the nikon 50mm f/1.4 and the cathedral the nikon 17-55mm f/2.8

Nice shots.

I've found that as long as I nail the exposure, very clean results can be had even at ISO 3200.

I love my D300. :)
