hey all
i have an e34 540i which is an amazing car but i have a problem. when push it to the limit and wait till it cutoff ( high rpm 7500 ) the gear changes the engine quits on me and the trans program light appears on the dash board. the engine just wont run. i have taken it to many mechanics but the thing is no one knows what is the problem. each mechanic just wastes my time and charge me some money with no real progress. the fluids of the transmition is fine. i plugged it to a scanner and the scanner sometimes acknowledges or reads the transmition and sometimes not. its getting really annoying and a waste of money and time. i travel alot in my car but the thing is that i cant just put my foot down and drive. by the way the transmission is automatic. does anyone know what can i do???
