My son who lives in Portland just bought a used 535is and I'm trying to help him out with resources for parts & maintenance. Can anyone recommend a good independent European auto repair shop in NE Portland, Oregon? I'm not talking Über-tuner shops here. I, personally, detest dealerships and over the years I've always had my BMWs, Audis, Volvos & VWs serviced by good independents. I've found they're more likely to be fair in their dealings, enthusiastic about their brand, more personable and reasonably priced. Thnx.
