Gonna make an appointment this week for my service and then I get to really see what this car can do! ............and yes, I have my proper part numbers for the diffrential fluid to ensure the dealer doesn't screw up.;)

and dont let them clean your car, i let them clean my m and it had all sorts of swirl marks...:mad:

im slowly making it through the breakin period...right now im at 600 miles....is the first scheduled service right after the 1200 mi mark or is this recommended?? my dealer didnt mention it....

for the M3 at least, yes, the first scheduled service is at 1200 miles. They change diff fluid and tranny oil.

Not sure about the M Coupe, but it should say in the Maintenance and Service Manual, I would think.

M coupes include an oil change as well as a differential fluid change, if I am not mistaken. I'll go get a checksheet and check to be sure...

MDork, my service advisor told me that M3, M Coupes and M Roadster all require the 1200 miles service.

He also mentions that I should change my oil every 7,000 miles instead of waiting for BMW's free oil change every 14,000 miles.
