your horn may be part of the alarm system im guessing?
the alarm has battery back up so therefore it will go off upon disconnecting the battery as the alarm thinks someone is trying to disconnect it, this is just a possibility
how long did it go off for ? did it eventally stop

the horn blared for about 10 minutes, then stopped. It started again and I eventually disconnected the battery. It stopped then, of course. Strangely, when I pulled the fuse marked "horn", it was no help. The car just screamed until I pulled the battery connection.
My concern now is, where's the horn and how do I disconnect it?

if ya have a 525, both horns are in front of the condenser behind the grill.

hey, where the horns are mounted (behind the grill) you have to take part of the grill off to get to them, then pull the connector off the horn(s)
