I have a couple of Bride race seats out of my Nissan 240SE (i love drifters) and I need new seats in my 1985 325E (soon to be M3). Where could I find seat brackets? Anyones help would be great thank you.

your 325e will never be an M3.

fuh raze seats will most likely need custom brackets unless you can use the search function and find them.

back in the day I made myself some brackets with strips of sheet metal, a clamp, and a drill. This was in eh say 2003 and they've held up this whole time.

why cant it be M3? I have a guy in NH that does it for 3500 w/ ecu. Full swap. Same guy that built my cooper. I have been using this guy for 5 years now and not once has he been wrong so I will just have to show you.

unles he is giving you an m3 shell then you will never have an m3 out of a 325e. you can swap whatever motor you want into it

Are they really that different? the normal E30 and the M3? im not doubting you but im just surprised. like obviously todays M3s only share about 10-20% of parts with the normal, but surely back in the day that wasnt the case?

Just because I can put a GTR spec-v engine does not mean it will be a GTR spec-v The M3 is not a 3 and NEVER will. The front control arms stock are 350.00 bucks. For starters it has a wide body kit (you can get it for 1,800 on ebay) even then it is not a M3 the seats and door panels are not the same. Just because I can put the new V8 M3 engine in does not mean it is a M3. You have to do a TON to make a stock performance 3 into a track monster. And then it is not a M3, it just beats the M3.

You can get a really great M3 on ebay for 22,000 buy it now! then you will have a M3. And you are a moron for getting someone to install a S14 for you. Get a S50,S52 or an S53! But 3,500 to install is stupid. You are going to be just another idiot with money that shows of another man's work. You can get the whole engine tranny and ECU for the swap for 2,500 if you look hard enough.

Your 3 will NEVER be a M3, so don't make yourself look dumb with slapping a M3 badge on your trunk. Good luck with the car! (that is to the real man doing the work)

e30 m3's are very different. they share a few common parts but they are so different that trying to recreate one would be more costly then buying one.

Well power wise don't go with a S14, get something newer. What are you planning on getting in it?

Same, I don't mind beating the pants off of an M3 but it is not a M3 unless it is from factory.
