This time, a 1992 325i 4 door. It has 168,000 on it, its a stick (that I need to learn how to drive). They guy just replaced the clutch. There is some rust on it, and THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR HAS THEFT DAMAGE. apparently he has a new door or something, but its not put on and color matched. Will hopefully have a picture of the damage once he replies to my email.

He's asking $3000, but i think thats quite a far stretch for a car with age, theft damage, and millage. i would say maybe $1900-$2100. You opinions?

The spoiler has to go...

Seriously, just don't buy it, for any amount of money.
I promise buying a cheap E36 is the last thing you want to do.

I love how some of you over-value your personal cars and bash the rougher ones.

an e36 is an e36 is an e36- they are all the same to me.

well there is a difference between poorly kept car and one that's has FSH and all that. The one that's for sale looks like sh.t and will need more money put in it. Why bother?

Not a chance, looks like it's been neglected and riced. Seller also looks like a liar: custom paint? Looks like normal CalypsoRot to me. :dunno: $10,000 invested? Not a chance. Hundred bucks for the lights, fifty for the spoiler on eGay, and 200 for the PepBoys wheels.

That's a poor specimen of an E36. Actually, a car in general. I've always been hesitant buying modded cars, you'd be safer to drop the dough and a babied stock one and go from there.

That spoiler takes the cake, wow, how horrible does that look?!

Yeah, I guess its another fail... still keeping my eye out...

Ive actully been looking at volvos and mercury cougars :dunno: ... there a little cheaper to buy and maintain!

i like the cougars, cheap, yet they still have the european ford styling and ride, and there based on the Mondeo, which im kinda a fanboy of...

If the 3 series dosent work out right now, im sure ill have it in a few years
