transmission

hey, my 94 325 has been acting weird, my transmission grinds when its on D and starts from a complete stop. if i drive it on the 1,2,3 mode it drives fine, can anyone diagnose this?

and sometimes when i accelerate the rpms go up to around 3k's and it catches on again ...hmm

I would try replacing the fluids first, might be low or the viscosity might be shot. Or try cleaning the ECU/TEU. Worked for me!
