i am sure i am not the only one who has said this, but doesnt the release of the upcoming 5 series GT provide us with a very good idea as to what the standard F10 will look like? regarding the GT , it looks a little weird in the photos and i dont know if really like the concept. a 4 passenger car? i dont get it. arent "sport" types more apt to go for a 550i anyway?

It is not a 4 passenger car. It offers a flexibility between 4 and 5.

who thinks that the GT gives us a very good idea of what the F10 will look like? The various spy photos and camollflaged "mules" are not as a good an indication as the already releases GT. if so, i am disappointed. i hope i am wrong...

As BMW has stated, the point fo the GT is a larger 5 with more comfort for 4 adults. Folks do not want the 7 series and the 5 is too small.
I guess BMW would rather come out with a GT instead of offering the long wheel base 5 series in the U.S. :dunno:
