View Full Version : How often to change gear box oil?

Factory sais never. At the service they told me that the oil needs replacing and I have only 40000 miles done with my 2.5 (AT) X3.

What do you reccomend me to do ?

Get it done if you are noticing slipping.

At what service did they say that? You have the GM5 tranny same as I have. My service manual says every 100,000 miles.
