ok, call me stupid but my shift knob (5 sp manual) is a little loose and I cannot seem to find a place to tighten it. Maybe something is stripped so I may need to replace it. If that is the case, how does one take the shift knob off? Thanks in advance!

Just found some instructions, pull up without turning the knob!

yep, yank up real hard and they come off.
