Disappointment and a reordering of priorities

I was looking at this..........until a few days ago. Sorry for the crappy pictures. It was blocked in on three sides and had a very busy highway in front of it. Someone else was looking, too; the lady on the cell phone. 323i 'vert, '99, 91K miles, beautiful. $8600 asking, would probably take $8000. Alas, it's not to be mine. I've been cut back to 24 hrs/week until further notice. I can't live on half a paycheck. There will be no Bimmer buying for a while. :cry: I'll just have to keep swiping the 318 from my daughter. ;)

I just got the exact same car- except the previous owner had put on 18 inch m3 rims, and it had a brand new cloth top with 75k miles. I got it for 8 grand. You'll find another one that's a better deal somewhere. :) Good luck!

That's unfortunate Ken, it's a really clean 323, but keep your head up! Everyone's going through these times of economic difficulty, and as a result it's harder for us to get these nice little toys ;)

But look on the bright side. At least you have a BMW to drive at all, and a clean one at that! There will be plenty more pretty E36's to come your way once things smooth out.

judging by the dealership i thinkit is in the background, its a really good idea that you didnt get it. and is that a paint and body and towing place thats selling it?

It looks pretty but i bet whoever bought it is gonna hate themselves in a few thousand.
