AND Counting ... :cry:

- Over (80) trouble / fault codes in the computer.
- Front cameras blurred (and BMW will not authorize replacement)
- Front Seats painful & leaving body (my body) marks (BMW states "No Seat Problems Found)

(And this doesn't count the first trip to the service department, which lasted (2) days) ..

(30) days old: (9) days in service, (6) days un-drivable (waiting for service appointment)

Sorry to hear about your predicament - how are BMW treating you compared to your previous 7er? Are they understanding?

About the same as my 2002 745i. "The car is new", "only 1 tech available", "thank you for your patience", "we're sorry", "no ETA". Not promising. I'm so mad .. I could spit fire and blood right now ..

I posted on "Service Problems with F01, F02" and I was so mad I left dealership and then thought that was stupid. I had to get it fixed. I just lost my temper. So went back the next day and they had it for four days. Like I said on other thread the new telematics unit fixed it and no problems for a month now. Have they replaced that? Lickily I waited before I posted here or before I filled out the post service appointment survery you get by email. In your case I think posting here is justified. That is a lot of fault codes! :mad: Not to mention 8 days out of 30 in shop...I too would be steaming. Not sure what to say about seats.

What is your dealership like. I was told that if they cannot figure it out at dealership they move up the chain of master technicians that are available to consult on problems dealers are having and they can send the electronic fault codes to the master technicians who consult dealerships and are on BMW USA's payroll...not a particular dealer. Is your dealer taking advantage of these master techs? Have you thought about another dealer. Your service plan/warranty is good at any of your local dealers.

My Customer Advisor...guy I bought the car from really kept on them while car was in shop. Is yours helping you?

I second "Briansbimmer's" point about asking for help from your salesperson. I cannot say enough good things about my BMW salesman; he's never failed to look out for my interests on both the sales and service side of the dealership. I've purchased 3 cars from him. If you haven't already, let your salesperson know that what's going on with your car in their service department has been very frustrating for you and that you need their help.

By the way, I think the new 7-Series is a fabulous car and I'm sorry that yours is going through so many teething problems.

Clambros....where have you been? Curious as to what happened with your car and if you still have it?
