I have the 2009 Z4 30 with the premium pkg and yes, all three rear view mirrors have the auto dim feature.

thats good to know. i like BMW for this feature a lot. this is one area where Mercedes sucks. they only provide rear and driver side auto dimmer but not passenger side regardless of the class or package.

Are you sure?
The Only problem I have with the auto dimming mirrors - is that the sensor (which makes the mirrors turn a dark greenish color) - is placed where it looks at the sky- rather than behind the car where lights are shining in the mirrors - If it is twilight - and not dark enough - a car from behind you can really put a bright light in your face - also have noticed, If I am driving on a cloudy day - and under a bunch of trees - the mirrors turn dark green - so it seems the sensor is not looking in the correct direction - anyone else find this - ?

I can't imagine driving a car without the dimming feature. My brother is home from medical school and my parents are renting him a Kia, which I drove last night. It is amazing the little things we take for granted and only notice them when they are gone... like rear view mirror dimming.

yes. none of the MB cars have passenger side auto dimmer mirror. even the SL ,CL or any other.
