Hey everyone, I might as well start with the entire story so you can fully understand my issue. I was driving on the highway and all of a sudden my car started vibrating like a PS3 controller.... the cluster stated Transmission PROG. Failure. I figured the transmission went... I was wrong... Long story short it was at the dealer and they saw that the left front shaft (axel) was completely disconnected from the wheel, which caused the computer to give that error so i wouldnt drive without an axel.
Anyways i have the axel replaced but i fear my transmission is bad anyways, im trying on the way back home from the dealership and all of a sudden i feel like a thump and my rpms rise like crazy from like 2 to 4-5. I was like wtfff.... and i was going the same speed :/ After that thump the RPMs are still flying, like SUPER Sports mode or something :/ can the transmission be at fault? There are also times were when the car just rolls, without giving gas or breaks it tends to like choke, like it would roll and then stop for half a second and then continue to drive :(
I left the car parked while im trying to figure/type this post up. I hope my RPMs will return to normal once i let the car rest....
Can my transmission be at fault here? :(
