Hey guys, just bought my wife a e90... have a couple questions, her car has the navigation, idrive... does that have satellite radio built in?

also this car has higher miles, 100k. what is the preventative maintenance i should have done? I know that on the e46, I would be changing the water pump and overhauling most of the cooling system right now. Is this the same on the e90?

Anyways the car is beautiful, it has the deep brown seats, black exterior, the touch sense doors, and its a 6 speed manuel!!!

my buddy rebuilds 745li's from theft recovery's and totaled cars, and on the last one he did, one of the door handles was broken, well he bought a handle on ebay for $35 and didnt fit right, ended up being because of the comfort access, the handle ran him over $700 from BMW... so yeah need to keep this baby insured nicely!

You will need to go to your radio menu to check on the Sat Nav - not a part of idrive necessarily.

Aren't they all? What do you do with yours?

I can't think of many folks that have 100k on their E9x already, so no clue as to common failure points. For now, just keep driving it until things start to fail.

Suggestions:
Coolant flush
Brake fluid flush (every 2 years!)
Replace spark plugs if necessary

my new roommate has the same 325i(as mine) and he has 115k miles already vs 47k mine. he strictly follows the computer up to now and to my surprise the car still runs great, even with the ticking issue.

so don't worry, this car can easily hit 150k miles before it bites the dust

Yes. They made 325i e90s for 2006 only. After that, they bumped it up to the 328i.

And I feel way behind you guys, I have a august 2005 build and mine only has 40k miles =).
