Push button start question

Does the push to start button light up?

On a 5 series it does. Not sure on a 1 series.

Yes the button is backlit. (The wording lights up.) Even more fun is what happens when you're driving along and hit the 'start/stop' button? Only one way to find out . . . ; -)

Are these on all the start/stop buttons? I've never noticed on mine LOL

Yes, the Start/Stop button is lit whenever the vehicle is "ready". Notice that if you've left the car sitting for a couple minutes, the light is off, but the moment you open a door or the bootlid, it relights.
