Does anyone have an idea when 2004 pricing for the 325i and xi models will be made available?

And without Jon around, I doubt we'll be getting any sneak previews. More likely delays.

This is one of the things I've been upset about, but I guess we'll just have to wait. Last year, the pricing was out on 8/8. I have heard this year everything from any day now to sometime after labor day. I just think it's unfair to people like me who have orders in for production the first week in September, where the order will already be in 150 status before I have a chance to see the pricing. But ... I'll have to live with it.

Don't worry guys, you'll get the sneak previews.

Larry,
Did you see the post about 2004 pricing in the general forum? If you did I bet you are very happy. The base price remained the same for 2004. Do you see now why BMWNA waited to the last minute to release pricing? :)

Hi Ted,
Yes ... I saw it (Lord knows I've been scouring this board daily!)! I am guessing that at the very least, BMW did not want people to know the 2004 pricing with some '03 inventory left (my dealer still has some non-XIs) ... although I'm not sure I completely understand why ... one's expectation would be that the price would almost without a doubt go up ... so on that assumption, one would be incented to purchase an '03 if they get a good deal. My other theory is that they are have made a decision to release the new 3-series earlier then thought ... otherwise, why not just raise the price now? Otherwise, what harm would have been done to let the public know that the prices are not going up say ... 2 weeks ago?
And I am very pleased. The deal I am getting fresh at the beginning of the model year is the same deal I would have gotten if they had been able to locate an '03 with same markup over invoice. The only way I could have done better was to purchase from you (:-)). I just didn't want to sacrifice the service courtesies. If you ever decide to open up a dealership down closer to NYC, let me know!

Ted,
I saw the post in the general forum about base prices remaining stable for the 2004's  , do you think option prices will go up? Logically, I don't see any reason for increases in option packages (especially with PP as it loses a few options in 2004), but it definitely is another pricing strategy. Just a thought.

The premium pkg. is going up $400.00 in the 2004 Coupe and Conv. beginning in September and the CWP in coupes, convs., and wagons will be increased $50. That's all the information we have for now, but full pricing will be release later today.
Ted
lsedels,
Which dealership are you using in NYC? Seems like the one I'm dealing with is giving a bunch of bull.

I am using Westchester BMW. I don't know what you meant by a "bunch of bull", but I can assure you that just about no car dealership makes this completely a pleasureable expererience (except for Ted and others on this board!). What dealership are you using?
If you are interested in Westchester BMW, and want a really nice guy to deal with, PM me and I'll give you his name.
Larry
I'm in NYC metro (manhattan, bklyn). The type of bull I get range from we cannot order a 2004 model until 2003's are sold to you should just order the car with lojack since its the same price as the non-lojack alarm.
Basically for the amount of money I'm about to part with the dealers should at least treat you with a little more respect. Also I've been told I don't know what I'm talking about and what I've heard or read are all lies.
Sorry for hijacking this thread. Now back to our regular discussion :)

No problem ... you are entitled to feel that way. If you want a good guy at Westchester BMW, let me know via PM. I did not get any treatment like that.

What happened to the Bluetooth option that was promised? Did not see it on the 3 or 5 series price sheets.
