528e key off, radio stays on??

I have a 1984 528e that runs great. Good commuter car. All of a sudden when you turn the key off the radio and overhead check lights stay on (possibly other things as well). It is draining the batt. I figured there must be a relay that has gone faulty but I do not see one that would make sense. I tested the ignition switch and that seems to be working correctly. Any ideas? :ouch:

To me is sounds like it is your ignition switch electrical part. To test it, you will need to remove the bottom cover of the steering column and disconnect the plug for it. You should measure the battery draw before you unplug it and after to confirm it.
