Does anyone know how long the re-delivery usually takes to get once the car has been dropped at the Paris CDG location? I'm on the East Coast (VA). I am planning to drop off the car around 12/28. Thanks!

No guess as to how long it will take, but have you checked to make sure that TT Car at CDG will be open on that date? :dunno:

I dropped off at CDG last June. I found no difference in time of redelivery. I received the car 30 days later at my dealer(JMK-NJ).
I have done 4 ED's and my CDG drop off was as smooth as my 3 MUC drop offs. Enjoy your trip:thumbup:

Yes, they are open. I called... and emailed, just to make sure! :D

TT at CDG will also transport you to your requested terminal at CDG. Very convenient...

It is possible that dropping in Paris could delay redelivery by a few days or a week or so (or not), but you shouldn't worry about it. It is random. Trucks do not transport cars to the port from CDG every day, as they do from Munich. So you may have a few days or so where your car sits at CDG waiting for a truck (or not). Once at port, your car might not get on a ship for a few days; this is random too, but it is only a matter of days either way.

It doesn't matter where you drop off the car, or which coast it is being delivered to. It all takes the same amount of time: forever.

I have a Paris drop-off planned for Nov 4th and have some of the same concerns that you do. I have checked all over this forum for other's experiences and they are varied. Last time I dropped off in Munich and just missed a ship and it took almost the full 8 weeks for redeliery in Mass. it comes down to the "Perfect Storm"; the transport to the port ready to go on the drop-off date and a ship just waiting for the car to roll on to.

Maybe I could check back with you in December about your redelivery experience. :-) Have a great time in France.

I had a Paris dropoff, and it sat at TT Car for somewhere between a week and 10 days. It still only took a month total to get back to the east coast though! I can't remember anymore the exact time anymore. The tortuous wait was the last month when my car was in the US but I had to wait for the Performance Center appointment!

I dropped off in Paris on September 8th, and it was loaded on a ship in Bremerhaven on September 15th. I think 7 days is pretty fast!

Yes you can check back and I hope I can report on a fast redelivery experience.
We are actually drivng into northern spain (Basque Country: Bilbao, wine areas), then through the Pyrenees back into France, toward Bordeaux, last night in Versailles and then to Paris drop-off.
