An inquiring mind would like to know the best microfiber towels to buy. Preferably one with the best balance of quality v. price. But the quality over rides the price. Ah shucks you know what I mean.

I found this posted somewhere around here earlier today:

I've seen that site a million times, can't believe I didnt remember to look there. Have you used those?

no but I may start. I'm still using The Absorber.

I have been using the Absorber as well but I am getting less enthusiastic about it. Just get tired of wringing the thing out and I really don't feel like it absorbs as well as I'd like. Heck the wiper blade was a pain as well. Need a big @$$ blow dryer, or a wringer from Griots.

a co-worker said he wanted a wringer and when I showed him the griots, he ordered it immediatly.

another co-worker (who just spent $10K on body work and paint for his E36 M3) stopped by over at autopia. now he's talking leaf blower. I guess they converted him. I was telling that he should be sure to purchase a gas powered leaf blower so that a CAI and other Dinan mods could be installed. ;)

Yeah, the leaf blower might work but I hate the smell that the 2 cycle gas makes. When I smell all clean from washing the car then I've got to smell like that exhaust. Could you mod the exhaust with the fresh air filter or auto recirculate?

here are some other MF sources for you (I've been poking around myself)....

these are highly respected over at Autopia

these look good as well but they are not as well known and don't seem to have a reputation yet.

Gotta stick with the electric leaf blowers. :)

admac, the latest batch from YoSteve's are 80/20. Have you tried them out?

I buy mine from Griot's Garage. They are 100% lint free. I always wash them before use though (just in case ;) )...

I just purchased some "Ultimate Towels" from - http://www.tacscar.com/

These towels are the same as the "Magic Towels" sold by - http://www.properautocare.com/

IMHO these are the nicest, non-linting, MF towels I've seen.
