Exactly what the thread title asks... I cannot find it confirmed anywhere.

Not positive, but I don't think it is either an F10 or E60. It has the new European bumpers, but I read somewhere that the underpinnings are mostly from the 7 series. No doubt some bits and pieces are from the E60, some of which will probably also carry over in the F10.

I think we should have a separate F07 forum.
Doesn't X6 have its own?
And 1 Series hatchback on European forums? :dunno:

Yeah... so did I! ;)
I am doing a story for J.D. Power about the car. I knew it really wasn't the F10, but I also couldn't imagine BMW using the E60 this late in the cycle. I knew the 5 Series GT used the same rear suspension as the 7 Series.... I am still waiting for BMW to confirm all of this.

I believe the car is a whole lot bigger then the F10 so I dont think they are really related except that they share a similar 'look'

Lets just ignore that BMW GT thing altogether. Maybe it will go away. :tsk:
