just purchased my second bmw recently,00 328i 4dr sport pack., my first was a 98 m3 4dr.,miss that car.ive been reveiwing all the recalls, horror stories, and misshaps, but i still love my bimmer.i plan on taking it to the dealer for the subframe update soon, wanted to know how safe the car is to drive? ive been driving it and really dont notice anything other than the e-brake test, how the rearend squats only on the pass. side. i drive it pretty hard and it handels great. i wannted to replace the stock wheels with 06 m3 wheels and was curious about tire size, didnt want to modify the fenders if possible.was thinking...245-30-19 rear...225-35-19 front with m3 stagged wheels. will this work?

Welcome aboard....you need to join the E46 Forum (that`s what your car is). Chances are, your subframe is OK....probably 5% are affected, so don`t lose sleep over it until you have it inspected. "Real" M3 wheels won`t fit, you`ll have to get M3 replicas with the proper offset for your car. You might want to stick to 18s, they`re more than big enough on the E46....staggered *look* cool, but make the car handle worse, and limit you by virtue of not being able to rotate them....better off going with a "square" setup (same size on all 4 corners). 225/40/18 would probably be the "standard" size for 18s....

Welcome. OEM staggered M3 wheels will NOT work. You need 4 fronts.
