So i'm going to get my windows tinted this weekend. I've done the search on here and read many threads; i'm going with 50front/35rear as some others on the board have done and i really like their pics.

Does anyone have any experience with this tint: http://products3.3m.com/catalog/us/en001/home_leisure/-/node_K1C7QNJ8FMbe/root_GST1T4S9TCgv/vroot_GSHCV1ZFXKge/gvel_00SCZR0CTPgl/theme_us_homeleisure_3_0/command_AbcPageHandler/output_html

It's a non-metallized, charcoal tint. 5 windows will cost me $260, but they also offer Llumar tint at $160. I dont' mind paying the extra money, but was just wondering if people have heard anything good/bad/ugly about this tint. Thanks...

Yeah, I've heard and seen this tint. This is carbon injected tint, does not have any dye in it so it will not turn purple with time and comes with lifetime warranty. It looks like any other 35% charcoal tint, goes good with black cars. I decided to go with 3M's metallized tint SPCS35Black because it had much better heat rejection than Colorstable (any metallized tint will) and I liked the look a bit better. I was quoted under $200 for Colorstable. 50% is going to be very light and will not offer much heat rejection and for this reason I would probably go with metallized tint.
I posted some pics in this thread. (http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38269&highlight=window+tint+recommendation)
