Hello all, we are a group of six and are coming up with plans to have a visit to Ontario, Canada. We have not taken the services of any travel agents or that sort and are now working to collect as much information as we could on the place there. We would appreciate any information provided by you all on that matter!

I wish I could have been a part of the group……I have a long desire to visit Canada, but something or the other keeps coming up and I find it hardly possible. But, I do have some information that I had saved for my trip. I had searched for some good accommodations for the place and find Ottawa executive suites (http://www.ottawastays.com/) to be a good source for Vacation rentals and other corporate apartment rentals. I hope that I make it there very soon.

Enjoy The Trip.

Your question is a little vague. You are working to collect information on....Ontario? What sort of information? And which part of Ontario are you planning to visit? (it's a pretty big place, you know)

The only thing I can tell you right now is make sure you don't bring any firearms with you. Don't take offense if it sounds like common sense, but you'd be surprised how many Americans get arrested at the border every year because they have no clue that it's illegal to bring guns across the border without the required paperwork. Oh yeah, and don't exceed the speed limit by more than 50 km/h. If you get caught, your car will be impounded on the spot, you'll get a $2,000-10,000 fine, and you will be charged with a criminal offense and face the prospect of spending up to six months in jail.

Good point about where in Ontario you're planning on coming. If you're in around the Toronto area a trip to Niagara Falls is well worth it, also some great driving roads in the Niagara region along with some nice wineries. This time of year is also nice up in Muskoka, fall colours et al, and again some nice driving roads. Give us an idea of what part of the province you're coming to and I'm sure you'll get some more information. Good call on keeping your speed below 50km/h over the limit, last thing you need on holiday is having your car impounded.
