I have been restoring a 1995 525 auto for my daily driver.I recently resprayed it calypso red and it looks real good.Problem is I threw away one of the lower door seals because it was cracked/bent. Thinking I could order a replacement from pelican auto.Unfortunately the one I got from them is definitely different from the trim that was on the door. The new one is soft rubber on the outside-old is hard plastic. They tell me I probably have the m tech package.
I have 2 questions if someone could help me out.
1. What is different about the M tech 525i
2. Where can I get the proper lower door seals

I have a 95 540i/6 that has some minor lower door rust and was planning on replacing the also.It appears to have the same type of seal.

Looks like you need a P/N 51212230373

I have the same ones on my car with the Olympics Package. Here is an article (http://www.bmw4life.com/mTechSkirts.htm) about adding them

That price is BMW retail. Pelican also lists that price. Check you local wrecking yards. I found a E34 in one close to me with those skirts on it.
