Idling Low

I have a 1978 320i. It starts fine, runs great when I am giving it gas, but after running it and then hitting a stop sign or red light sometimes the idle comes down and I stall out. I am thinking I'll just try and raise the idle screw, but does anyone have any insight on this? Is this a chronic problem in these cars?

I am having the exact same problem. Have you been able to fix?

I find I just adjust the idle screw and everything is just fine, especially happens when I run my A/C. So, yes, just adjust the idle screw. :)
