View Full Version : '93 525i takes longer to start after replacing air filter
Hi guys, last week i replaced the air filter of my 525i, after that i've noticed that it takes longer(sometimes a lot) to start the car :dunno: any ideas? what should i do to keep it normal?

Switch to a FRAM or stock (OEM) air filter.
I used the same brand it had before (MANN) and before the starting was good...

Then you need to look on top and side of you engine and check to see if you inadvertantly pulled a vacuum line. That has happened to me before.
