View Full Version : Replacing the rear deck speakers

Does anyone know how to do this on am E34 without taking the whole back deck off? I saw that three of the screws were easily to get to, but that last one went underneath the side back pillar cover. Any suggestions? Thanks!

umm i think you do have to teke it off. i am redoing my interior and when i took the back cover off i saw that they were in their own boxes so i think you do need to take everything off, it's not that hard thought:thumbup::dunno:

That is one thing I loved about older GM cars. No Muss, no fuss when it came to speaker upgrades.

Bentley Manual is much better on the details. Even so it still misses items or is too general.
