Just curious - How many of you are purchasing vs leasing your new 750's? 12K down - 3 year, 10,000 miles per year at $1,5xx per month...is what I'm getting.....

My car is stuck in Wyoming! Just negotiating prices still....

Why are you putting $12K down? I am putting down the minimun which is about $5K.

My car is on the water enjoying the cruise over to the US.

Who told you $5k is the minimum cash down payment on a lease? That is not accurate.

My CA. Please elaborate?

It is the first month and all the rest of the stuff that has to be paid which comes to around $5K, at least in my situation.

Thanks, I would love to get some more details.

OK, we're just using different wording - You're saying $5k was your the total drive-off amount paid... which is ok. I thought you were told you had to put a minimum Cap Cost reduction of $5k - plus the other costs.

I think we're confusing terms here - "no money down" (as in a cap cost reduction) versus "up front money" (first month payment, sec dep, fees).

I looked into buying versus leasing. BMW Financial is offering 3.9% financing so I ended up buying mine (my deal was done on October 20th).

As for leasing leasing. A 3 year/15K miles was in the $1500s - $104k list, $5k discount. This was with no money down, but I would've had to come up with some up front money to the tune of over $3k, which included first month's payment and a security deposit equal to one month's payment. Perhaps this is what LovinM6 is referring to when he says $5k minimum?

I wanted the flexibility of owning in the event the car didn't suit me and I wanted to sell (I've been driving SUVs for 15 years). Also, it seems I always go over the miles.
