Pictures to come soon

2010 750 LI Xdrive
Black Sapphire Metallic
Black Leather
Ash Wood
Msport Package 20 inch wheels
Every option except Active cruise

My first impression of the car is good. It has lots of power and really performs great especially on the highway. The new I drive is much better. The quality is top shelf.

Complaints.....

Why can't I with my ipod randomly go through songs with the steering wheel controls:mad:

Why do I have to set it to random every time I get in the car:mad:

Music quality is poor:tsk:

Why can't I go through preset radio stations from the steering wheel controls

I miss the phone keypad from my last 7:tsk:

They should let me control the rear entertainment from the idrive

big pillar = big blindspot

night vision = useless

The steering feels a little wide am wondering if I should have got the 2wd with active steering

But all that being said I love the car and am very happy with the purchase

Yep. Welcome and congrats on the car. There are some things worth improving, that's for sure. It's still a fine car, though.

You can. If you got to the "Preset" on the main iDrive screen, you can then scroll through the rest from the steering wheel.

It's certainly not perfect, but pretty darn good.

Exactly! Once you select the "Preset" (You may have to add your stations to the Preset if not done already) it should be available when you scroll

None-Sports package 7 series have wider and skinnier steering wheel but the Sports package 7 series have shorter and thicker steering wheel. I prefer the Shorter and thicker steering wheel due to my big hands.

Here is the two different steering wheels side by side
Sports steering wheel on the left and non-sports steering wheel on the right.

Congratulations on the new ride! Don't get upset yet...take time and explore the car...there're lots of stuff hidden in the iDrive that can help improve your perception of the car and make driving easier and fun.

Enjoy!

First of all thanks for your help. Secondly I am far from upset with the car I love it. If I had to make a list of my dislikes from my last car mb s600 it would be 10 pages. One of your pictures made me curious and I am going to start a new post about this- How does everybody have their EQ and treble and bass set and why? Once again thanks for all your help.

I was pretty sure you could do just that. In fact, I think I tested doing this when checking out an 09 750 with RSE at my dealer's lot. Instead, do you mean you wish the Professional RSE with Rear iDrive was offered in the US?
