How much above INVOICE price did you aquire your 2009/2010 750 for? Did you find any increased willingness on the dealer's part to get closer to invoice pricing as a result of the slow economy and theoretically lower demand for luxury automobiles? Your advice and results will help me greatly with the deal I'm considering.

We paid $1300 over invoice, but I don't know that the economy necessarily had anything to do with the deal -- we've been buying BMWs from the same CA for 21 years. I know we could have bought it for $1000 over, but the wife is a softy (she actually wanted to pay more!).

I paid 11k under invoice.

However mine was a dealer demo with 3500 miles this car was driven by the GSM for 80% of the miles. Thought it was a fair deal since Im only leasing for 30 months.

Car was in mint condition when picked up.

Not sure exactly what the invoice was (8% off list?) but my dealer gave me $5k discount on a $104k list. I've bought a couple of X5s from this dealer and was fine with the deal. It was the dealer's first X Drive car and the rest of this year's supply was sold.

Seems like some of you negotiate DOWN from the sticker instead of UP from invoice. That's a guarantee excess profit for the dealer. Most dealers of other brands are willing to take 3-5% over invoice (or less if there are manufacturer incentives which we know there aren't for the 2010 7 series).

Anyone else have any luck with getting between 3-5% above invoice?

So I guess our deal, at about 1.5% over invoice, is looking pretty good!

My deal on MY2010 F02 was $1,600 over invoice (w/ wholesale price on options), or about $7,200+ below sticker on an Individual package almost fully loaded.

I Purchased a MY2009 F02 for $1700 over ED MSRP ($100,890), which was $13,130 below standard MSRP ($114,020).

It's not only about price, but service. A thread should be started regarding how good your service was, and then you can discuss price. All are not created equal.

Agreed. This thread screams of "one-upmanship". Frankly, most people either finance or lease so when you consider the added cost of a thousand or two dollars over a 3 or 5 year term, it amounts to very little per month.
