How long of a wait from your Estimated Production Date?

Can people please tell me how long it took to get their car?

I just setup my account w/ Owners Circle. It's "On Order" and the "Estimated Production Date" is October 17th.

Just be straight w/ me; How long am I gonna be waiting?!

Hey dude, I am in the same boat (not litterally :( ). my car went from on order to Sched to production on 9/12, with an est. production date of 9/26 (which means the car is scheduled to be COMPLETED on the 26th of Sept. I called BMW today and they had told me the status is still 150 but it should be changing to 151 any time now and should start getting built any minute.

Call the 1800-831-1117 number they have up-to-date information, the website is slow.

If the car is built in Germany (vs. South Africa), you're talking 3-4 weeks before it hits an east coast US port (5-6 for the west coast), then another 1-7 days typically to get to the dealer.

Mine is on a boat now after build date of 9/5 and is expected to be in NY by 9/30. I'm anticipating delivery on or about 10/4-10/6.
