Is a loaner car provided for you when you take your car to a dealer other than the dealer you originally bought your car from? :eeps:

Depends on the dealer. My local dealer won't but the dealer an hour away will. That's one of the many reasons they get my buisness and the local dealer doesn't. :)

The answer is it depends. I don't think it's common.

Conversely, the stealer why I bought my car does not do loaners, but they will rent you a car "at a really good rate". I have no idea what the rental rate is as they've always given me a courtesy ride to/from work so far.

My dealer (Moritz) will - even tho I didnt buy my car there. Just need to give them advance notice if you want a BMW :)

The local dealer where I get my car serviced gives me a loaner even though I didn't purchase my car from them. I just need to schedule it about a week ahead of time to make sure they have a loaner available. Recently they've contracted with Enterprise who have their office onsite for free BMW and Jaguar loaners. It's been easier to get things scheduled since they started doing this.
