Hi...I've run into a problem replcing the starter in my 1995 E34 Sedan M50. I've been able to remove the torx bolt at the bottom, but I can't seem to budge the starter. Is there another bolt on the top I can't see?? I appreciate any help anyone can give me. I don't want to force the starter out, but it's getting very frustrating. The Haynes manual I have isn't much help as far as telling me where the mounting bolt(s?) are located. Thanks in advance

Two bolts and a locating pin. Whack it a little after removing the bolts.

Thanks...that must mean the 2 nd bolt is on top where I can't see it (right?) Love the car, but I wish I could get a better resource manual than Haynes

You can get a Bently that will cover virtually everything. Here is a link that I have saved, but I'm sure they are available at other sites as well.

Hope this helps.
