So I walk out of work tonight and see a familiar E39 540i in the parking lot.....but wait, something is new...????!!!!! On th trunklid opposite the "540i" badge is an "//M"!!!! The low life POS!! I'm gonna write him a nasty note... Cheap, no good, %$#@#!

As long as it doesn't say M5 but just an M...... who cares

I just think its pretty cheap when people try to fake a car. If ya can't afford the real thing do go trying to look like one.

That is messed up! He should be proud of his 540i and not be a damn wanabe.

They are both great cars.

The funny thing is that anyone who realizes (and actually cares) what the M on an M car stands for would know that the guy is full of crap and laugh at him.... and yet people like him do it anyways :tsk:

I use to think its funny, but all and all he/she is still a fellow bimmer owner.

So now I try really really hard to overlook it. :D
