on my front tires, (255-30-22) Lexani tires, the recommended psi is 55Ibs.
I was bit surprised but yeah, its says 55Ibs. I was driving and on some potholes, I felt like my rims were hitting the ground. i check the tire pressure and my front was 20Ib!!!
so I filled it up with air and now its fine.

55 is the max buddy! Run your pressures at around 35-40 PSI and monitor the wear patterns on the tire. To much air and the tire will wear in the center. To little air and it'll wear more on the sides.

 What he said. The sidewall specs are MAX, not everyday. You also have to be careful when it's cold too, as that will have an effect on your tire pressures. I upped mine from 32psi to 40psi on a 265/30/22 and 295/25/22 combo and although it rides slightly rougher, it's still tolerable and will provide a bit more protection when hitting those nasty potholes and such. Just my .02

40 would be good and good handling
