Damn, it was really quick.Shot straight up to 80 mph and it felt like the car was coming off the ground practically. Quite nimble. Nice steering but a bit scary compared to my 540......... :yikes:

Nice steering but a bit scary compared to my 540......... :yikes:Funny- I drove an E36 M3 when I was looking for my car. Acutally, I drove it FIRST- before I'd ever driven the 540.
Later that same day I went to another dealer and drove a 540i6 for the first time ever. I was hooked.
Don't get me wrong- both great cars- but that hook in my cheek is still pullin up grins even 3 years later. :bigpimp:

They are quick and I believe the 1/4 times are about the same as a 540i6.
I would love to have one sitting next to my 540 with a stage II AA turbo system

Was it an automatic or a manual? Most I see are autos.
Nice cars - the 3 series convertible really benefits from the more powerful M3 engine, the car has a good deal more weight to carry around than a 3 coupe.
See you at the SMU Law Golf Tourney saturday Alex!
